Candace had a sweet helper in the kitchen the other day. We love seeing our children's servant-hearts at such a young age. :)

Busy Skies...

The heavens above Metro Detroit were painted with contrails late one afternoon. It looked like a lot of paths sketched out in the milky-blue skies. There must have been a lot of air traffic overhead!

March Cycle...

I managed a quick cycle on a lovely evening earlier in March. It was one of the usual routes that I do here - just 24 kms or 15 miles. The light was beautiful down on the Rouge River in Dearborn, as the sun got closer to the horizon. 

I'm thankful for the time change that allows us to enjoy more daylight in the evenings!

Unusual Visitors to DTW...

I spotted these two aeroplanes on final approach to DTW last month. These two airlines aren't regular visitors to Detroit. They were in fact rerouted after severe storms stopped aircraft from landing at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Both the Swiss Air and the TAP Air Portugal flights were operated by Airbus A330 planes on this day.

Missions Moment at Church...

Last month, we shared during a missions moment at church about what we do for Horizons International. It went really well, and it was great to tell the congregation a little bit more about what we do for Horizons here in the Metro Detroit area. :)
