Camogli Hospital...

Having served on Mercy Ships (and Candace being a nurse), we also wanted to see Tristan's hospital. Candace and I enjoyed a tour of Camogli Hospital on Friday, September 20th. We saw their operating room, various wards, the x-ray machine, as well as the dental surgery. Interestingly enough, Tristan is similar to Mercy Ships in that the island also has a walking blood bank. If blood is needed for a surgery or an emergency, the doctor or nurses will call an islander to come and donate blood - providing they are a donor and have the required blood type.
