Birds of the Barn...

We often see many birds outside our Barn and in the surrounding area. The photo here is of ducks at the Eastside Park in Washington, though. Some of the more interesting spots that I've captured on camera are below.

 A flock of pigeons above the pond.

 Several killdeer, a type of plover, on the bank.

 Purple martins in their nesting houses.

 The whole structure.

 Canada geese taking cover in the tall grass by the water's edge.

The reason being is that they have three little goslings with them.

 Swimming lessons.

 Great blue heron on the bank near the pond's overflow.

 Another heron in the trees above - along with a red-headed woodpecker above to the left.
