Deer family...

I saw a rare sight several weeks ago. I've seen one or two deer in the past, but I'd never seen a small family group all together. Four deer emerged from out of the relative shelter and safety of the woods during a thunderstorm. They walked out into the corn field where they spotted me and stood still, sizing me up, before running off to an adjacent field. My photos don't do the beauty of the moment justice, unfortunately. It was a rather special meeting.
