After several weeks of settling in, we ventured out and drove up to Lake Huron. We drove to the oldest lighthouse on Michigan's shores, Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, which dates from 1825. It was a beautiful, sunny day at Port Huron - and we all enjoyed walking along Lighthouse Beach and watching the lake traffic sail serenely by. :)
