Christmas Day 2021...

We had a pretty good Christmas day, despite Candace suffering from a sight-losing migraine during the late morning and two of our kiddos being rather grumpy with chickenpox. The day started with opening Christmas stockings and other presents at Shirl's place. The children loved their gifts! I also received a fantastic Cape Town t-shirt, which I wore for the rest of the day.

We then drove to Mom and Dad's house in the late-morning for opening more stockings, as well as lots more presents! Our kiddos, again, were rather spoiled with amazing gifts and we were so grateful to our family for making us feel so welcome! Thanks for loving us so well, Cape Town family!

Christmas Day wouldn't be complete without Christmas Eve leftovers for our lunch. Yum! There were lots of mince pies (with brandy butter, of course!) and fruit cake, too! My aunt Jen also came to visit, and it was lovely seeing her again after all these years.

I trust that you had a blessed Christmas this past year, surrounded by friends and family and knowing God's ultimate gift of Jesus to mankind! :)
