Fish and Chips...

I was sure to enjoy all of my favourite South African foods while we were back home in December. Fish and chips are a yummy meal that has its roots in British culture. Fish shops - where you can buy both frozen, fresh fish and cooked, takeaway meals - are plentiful in my coastal hometown. This traditional fish and chips, with the chips drizzled in vinegar, was from Mr Fish in Pinelands. Hake is the fish that is commonly used for fish and chips in South Africa. It was delicious!
