The first day of the staff summit was fantastic, with worship and ministry updates, testimonies and small group sharing. It was really powerful and you could sense the unity that we all have as family together. After the conference had ended for the day, a group of us went and toured the Middle East Center (MEC) Creative Studio, Horizons' hub for art, design, and video production.
The day ended with supper at a falafel restaurant, followed by delicious ice-cream. The first day really showed me how special it is to be a part of Horizons. It was so lovely to connect with people on a face-to-face level, especially for me who is often talking to colleagues online.
