Wildfire Haze...

We had poetry teatime again in our back garden recently. Smoke from the wildfires in California, Oregon and Washington had made their way to our corner of southern Indiana and created hazy skies. Breathing quality was fine though, since the smoke was many 1000s of feet high, but it still created an apocalyptic atmosphere. It also made me think of all those on the West coast and how much worse it is for them there.

The sun seen through the hazy atmosphere. The sky would have been blue if it wasn't for the upper-level smoke.
Poetry teatime for the win!
Family selfie. The smoke adds a hazy filter to the normal light.
