Our house in Detroit is located on one of the main flight paths for DTW - Detroit Metro Airport, which is the primary international airport serving Michigan. We often see passenger planes flying over us on their final approach to the runway - such as this Icelandair Boeing 737 MAX 8 on its flight from Reykjavik to Detroit. 
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
