Great Fish Point Lighthouse...

On our drive back to East London we visited the Great Fish Point Lighthouse, located near the coastal village of Kleinemonde. This impressive lighthouse was built in 1898 and sits 76-metres above sea-level, watching out over the dangerous reefs off the coast. The light flashes once every ten seconds and has a range of over 32 nautical miles. It was great to visit another of South Africa's historic lighthouses!
