House-husband...

With Candace working long hours at the hospital, I have found myself in the role of house-husband throughout most of the week. I can't apply for jobs since I don't have a social security number yet, so I spend my days doing the daily chores. These include washing dishes, doing laundry, vacuuming, grocery shopping, mowing the lawn, and cooking supper for the two of us. I'm actually enjoying this time at home. It's growing me in new ways and I'm also becoming more creative with cooking up different meals. God is good. :-)
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
