Azalea Path Arboretum and Botanical Garden...

Candace and I joined her family in taking a road trip across to Oklahoma for a family wedding late last month. We travelled through Illinois, Missouri and Kansas en-route to Oklahoma. But before we had even left Indiana we went and visited the beautiful Azalea Path Arboretum about an hour south and west of us. It is a lovely botanical garden with picturesque paths to walk along. It was a great way to start our family road trip!

A little waterfall feeds into the small lake.
 The lake.
 Jack-in-the-Pulpit.
 Bleeding Hearts.
 Azaleas.
More pretty azaleas with the lake behind.
There are plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy God's creation.
Candace and I enjoying the beauty.
Watch out for the giant bird - it has escaped from the cage! :)
 Oil well.
