We had our first snow storm at our new house several weeks ago. It was particularly interesting as this snow followed some pretty heavy rainfall, meaning that the snow covered up the mostly-frozen water, creating some rather hazardous travel conditions. It was quite beautiful to look at though, and even Riaan's Lego snow mobile enjoyed the white stuff!
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
