Festive Cycle...

Despite having a cold, I decided to go for a brief cycle on Saturday, 28th December. It was a balmy 16 degrees Celcius (61 deg F) and I did a lovely 18 kilometre (around 12 miles) loop on my trusty bike. And once home, I treated myself to a brown cow - a traditional South African drink and a favourite in our family! :)
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
