Riaan entered a couple of exhibits at our local 4-H fair recently. His work was entered under the "Models" and "Crafts" categories, and he did a fantastic job! He did a drawing of a dinosaur museum - pictured at left - and then a couple of Lego aircraft creations that he designed (from pictures in a book) and made all by himself! We were very proud of him!
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
