Walking through the Zithulele countryside...

Candace and I were invited to go for a walk of the surrounding countryside last weekend. We went on a circular loop away from the hospital and saw many lovely sights. The group was made up of two Americans, a Dutch girl, and a few South Africans, and I was the only guy in the group. (Very much like ship statistics there...) It's awesome to be able to continue to serve in an international pocket of community - even though we're off the ship!

Sheep graze freely in the fields here.
 Traditional homestead.
Candace and I point out the famous Hole In The Wall.
A closer view of Hole In The Wall. The "hole" is where you can see the wave crashing through the channel.
 Pretty tree.
 Abandoned rondavel.
View of Zithulele Mission Hospital as we near the end of our walk.
