Badger Bird...

I call this little sparrow the Badger Bird, since the markings on its head closely resemble the European badger. But it is actually the white-crowned sparrow and is often seen in the USA. I first saw this type of bird while we were in Oregon back in 2015, and I spotted it just outside our front door in Indiana this year. :)
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
