After enjoying several hours at the beach, we went back to Shirl and Montassir's place for the rest of the afternoon. We then drove through to the
GoDriveIn drive-in theatre in Woodstock, another suburb of Cape Town, to have supper and watch a movie there.
Drive-in theatres are making a comeback due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we were happy to support this thriving local business. We enjoyed burgers from the food trucks, pictured here, and coffee and mini-doughnuts from the cafe/bakery there too. We all settled down in the cars to watch the children's movie,
Abominable, released in 2019. The kiddos had a blast as did we adults!
