Candace and I are back in Cape Town for a few weeks as we work on visa applications and cycle the Cape Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour together - which we successfully completed last week! More on that in another blog post though. We were very excited when we visited the Department of Home Affairs last week and discovered that our Unabridged Marriage Certificate was ready for collection! This is a key document that we will need for our visa application process. We had been waiting on it for some time now, and were very happy to get it back one year and two days after our wedding!
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
