Candace had the honour of being nominated for Daviess Community Hospital's 2017 Nurse of the Year award. She was also nominated back in 2015 for this special award. The ceremony was held on the 12th of May, International Nurses Day, which is the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. Candace didn't win the main award, but both Riaan and I were very proud of her! :)
Throughout West Africa, Europe, South Africa, the USA, and the South Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure continues as we seek God's will for our life after Mercy Ships.

ABOUT ME
- Murray Tristan Crawford
- I am a 40-year-old South African whose journey with Mercy Ships began in 2007 when I joined the M/V "Africa Mercy" in Liberia. I met my wife Candace in Sierra Leone in 2011 and together we served with Mercy Ships until December 2012. We worked with Mercy Vision in South Africa during 2013, and are now settled with our three kiddos in the USA.
