Domesticated livestock...

Have I mentioned how tame the cattle are on Tristan? Well, they are remarkably tame for livestock. Not only do they recognise their owner's voice, but they even come running when they hear their name being called! When the cattle are grazing in the village, they will even find their way to their owner's house and wait outside, eagerly expecting some Tristan potato scraps! This certainly takes the idea of domesticated livestock to a whole new level! The photo here shows Brian with two of his cows, both called Sparkle, as they enjoy a snack of potato scraps.
