It is always a privilege to be in a country when it celebrates a national holiday, especially when that country is the United States and that holiday is the 4th of July. I joined Candace and her family in celebrating Independence Day with a family supper and watching fireworks at West Boggs Lake, a short trip south of Odon. It was a lovely evening! 
The sky was on fire as the sun set.

It wasn't the biggest fireworks display I've ever seen, but it was still pretty impressive. Happy 4th of July, America!
