Common Walks...

The Rondebosch Common is one of my favourite places in Cape Town. It is literally right on the doorstep and is a bit of peace and quiet in the midst of a busy city. We enjoyed a number of walks on and around the Common during our time in the Mother City. It is a great place to see nature and offers lovely views, too.

Walking around the Common with Riaan and Candace on a rather blustery day.

 Fiscal shrike on the Common.
A flock of guineafowl in the trees on the Common.
The view of Table Mountain and Devil's Peak on a clear day.
Walking across the Common. The large building at left is the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital - sub-Saharan Africa's only dedicated children's hospital.
Walking on the Common with my Dad.
