Simon's Town...

We visited picturesque Simon's Town on Friday morning, 17th March. Simon's Town is a little town on the False Bay coast, nestled on the mountain slopes. There are plenty of shops selling antiques, arts and crafts in this area, and there are also several good seafood restaurants. Simon's Town is also where the headquarters of the South African Navy is located.

We browsed through various shops and craft stalls before grabbing some takeaway lunch - calamari and hake and chips - from the Salty Sea Dog. We then drove to Glencairn Beach where we ate our lunch and enjoyed walking on the beach. It was Riaan's first time on a beach by the sea!

 Pretty view.
