Sunset from Blouberg Beach...

After the family braai, we decided to drive out to Blouberg Beach and watch the sun set behind the waves. Blouberg is Afrikaans and means "Blue Mountain" and this is because Table Mountain across Table Bay can often take on a blue tint in the changing light.

We walked along the beach and Riaan found some more rocks for his rock collection. :) There were also hundreds of kite-surfers enjoying the last of the evening light, too. It was rather fitting that we found a heart-shaped rock which perfectly summed up our 2017 trip to Cape Town. We deeply love Cape Town, after all.

 We love Cape Town!
 Gorgeous view across the waves.
One of my favourite photos from this trip. :)
Kite-surfers make the most of the last of the light.
View looking north as the sun sets.
And the view to the south with Table Mountain.
Candace and Riaan take in the beauty of another wonderful day in Cape Town.
